SLIP AND FALL CASE SETTLED FOR $80,000
Client was an elderly lady at a hotel convention who tripped over an extension cord, resulting in her falling and hitting her head and sustaining a concussion. The Hotel argue that the extension cord was open and obvious and the client admitted that she had seen the cord prior to falling. Nontheless, we fought this case in Federal court and obtained a favorable settle to help pay for medical bills, and pain and suffering.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT OF A FAMILY MEMBER
Client was wrongfully accused by a vindictive on again, off again ex-girlfriend of assaulting her leaving her with a busted lip. She also alleged that the threatened her with an AK47. The police arrived took picture of her injuries and seized my client's rifle. The case fell apart thanks to relentless investigation and the use of neighborhood surveillance cameras which showed her leaving my client's house injury free. It wasn't until the returned to scene when the police arrived that the injuries suddenly appeared. This evidence supported my client's claim that he never touched her and that the injuries were self inflicted. Ultimately even the police officers who worked the case admitted that the alleged victim had serious credibility issues and we were able to argue for a dismissal for an innocent man who maintained his innocence from the beginning.
